Description

Nestled among the southern foothills of Sri Lanka's central massif is the Sabaragamuwa region. The tea plants grow quickly here because of the tropical heat and frequent downpours, which makes the leaves longer, more succulent and rich with chlorophyll for a truly unique taste.

Our tasters' special choice from the region is this Orange Pekoe 1. It has a long, thin and wiry appearance and when brewed creates a light-bodied infusion with a delicate aroma and sweet, almost honey-like flavour.
