Our stylish long leaf OPA teas are a specialty of the Ruhuna region - located in the southern lowlands of Ceylon. Given the regions bright sunshine, warm temperatures and tropical downpours, the tea leaves are considerably larger than those of the highlands. The longer leaves enable the skilled tea manufacturer to lightly roll them into their distinct slender shapes. Once placed into boiling water they quietly open and release their bright amber coloured infusions.
