High up at 3000 to 4000 feet, nestling in the picturesque east of Sri Lanka's central massif, is the Uva region. The teas here become exceptionally fragrant and flavoursome thanks to the drying effects of the monsoon winds, and the sunshine-filled days followed by cooler nights.
We have chosen this Pekoe tea for you to enjoy because of its typical Uva seasonal character. Only the younger, more supple leaves are plucked producing a well-twisted appearance and a beautifully aromatic taste to truly savour.
