Description

In the southwestern lowlands of Sri Lanka, from sea level to 1000 feet, the climate is tropical ... hot and humid with drenching rainfall. This makes the teas here in the Ruhuna region grow quickly and develop long, succulent leaves that are rich in chlorophyll.

We have chosen this Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe because it is a superb example of a lowland tea. Jet black and well twisted in appearance, the leaves brew a deliciously strong and deep-bodied infusion.
